Quintas Cork City Marathon Runners fundraising for two local charities

Quintas have entered two relay teams to run in this years Cork City Marathon on Monday the 7th June to raise funds for two local, very worthy causes, namely the Cork Simon Community and Marymount Hospice.

The team raising funds for the Cork Simon Community comprises of Edel O’Donnell, Tim McCarthy, Noel Creedon, Mark Ryan and Kieran Hallissey and the team raising funds for Marymount Hospice comprises of Jennifer Prout, Philip Gillivan, Derek Murphy, Jim McCarthy and Jason Haugh.  We also have one member of staff, David O’Shea who will be running the full marathon.

With less than a week to go it is certainly a case of ‘David versus The Goliaths’ as the two relay teams step up their training and diet programs to ensure that they are at their top athletic form so they can compete for bragging rights depending on who is first over the finishing line.
